Live Streaming agenda

Stream RE2015 Live now!

The Rethinking everything Conference is like no other event. It is an amazing collection of un-schooling families from around the country who have been gathering annually, since 1993, to celebrate Un-schooling, Re-thinking and self-designed living.

We realize, however, that not everybody that may want to attend can make it. There are considerable logistics as well as expenses involved for many families, especially those coming in from great distances. For those reasons, we are making some of the {general session} content available via Live Streaming.

Our sincere desire is to not only share this amazing content but to help build community also. “How” you might ask. Well, are encouraging house parties and gathering. In addition to families viewing #RE2015 at home, we’d also love to hear stories of communities gathering to absorb the content and even dialogue among themselves. What a great way to find the like-minded in your own area.

How does it work?

Three easy steps: (1) contact us to sign up and stream, (2) pay with Paypal or credit card, (3) we send you a link and the broadcast schedule and viola – sit back on the couch (hopefully with a living room full of friends) and watch.

How much does it cost?

  • $100 home license. Single login to conference virtual site to watch sessions, live or recorded. You can invite people over to watch with you, but they won’t have independent access to the recordings unless they, too, buy a home license.

  • $250 event license. Single login to conference virtual site, allows you to show sessions or recordings at a commercial site or as part of a commercial offering. Those who attend your event can receive their own login license for later recorded viewing for $25 per person. You pay the $250 fee up front, then send us the list of your attendees email addresses and payment and we’ll send you login information for each of them.

**Please note that additions and changes may happen right up until 48 hours before the big event – all details will be posted at that time for final viewing. All schedules will be posted on Central time. Some sessions may be tape delayed, due to simultaneous content and activity.**

Below are the sessions and times we plan to stream:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2015

(live) 9:00 to 10:00 am / (re-broadcast) 11:00am to 12:00pm

“The Space Between (our) Stories” – Charles Eisenstein

We live in a time of crisis. The environment, energy, health care, money, politics, education… none of our systems are working very well any more, and more and more people understand that the way we are doing things is unsustainable. Normal is falling apart. But endings are often also beginnings. What are these crises transitioning us into? What might the new normal look like? In this talk, Charles Eisenstein describes the deep, invisible stories that underlie the crisis of our time, and the new stories upon which we are already beginning to build a different kind of civilization. A new (and ancient) consciousness is emerging, but our institutions – money, medicine, government, and more – are still grounded in the old. This talk will illuminate how we can participate in a revolution in human beingness, that includes a different relationship to Earth, a different experience of self, and a different conception of life purpose than what is normal today.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2015

9:30 am to 10:30 am

Sacred Masculine – Charles Eisenstein

We hear all the time about restoring and celebrating the sacred feminine. What about masculinity — does that have a sacred dimension as well? Should the reaction to the horrors of patriarchal male violence be to retreat from masculinity and become more feminine? Or is there perhaps a distinctly masculine way of being that is not about domination and control of women (and of the feminine aspect of both genders)? Join this workshop to explore such questions through dialog and storytelling.
