Rebecca is a holistic counselor, author, and speaker. She is passionate about supporting families to create a life of love and connection, especially when challenges arise.
Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Ball State University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. She has specialized training in attachment and trauma, along with 20+ years of working with children and families.
Rebecca supports families to create healing in their own homes and helps them to find their own unique path in parenting and family life. She helps families find the root cause of challenges, whether that stems from the parents’ own early life or a more recent traumatic and disconnecting event, empowering parents to find their own way through the storms. She loves exploring the impact of early life on families and children, and finding new ways to create more connection and understanding in families.
Recently, Rebecca has been rethinking weddings, marriage, schooling, and travel. Her youngest son, 11, is loving unschooling at a Sudbury school and her oldest son, 16, is enjoying culinary school. She truly believes that education needs to be co-created with each child to find what will work best for him or her and lives it in her own life.
You can join her in Little Rock for Rethinking Everything this year and at her retreat with her new husband, Tra, in Costa Rica in October, where they’ll be Rethinking Parenting where the jungle meets the sea! (Watch for more details on this exciting event coming soon.)
